Do I need an account?
No. Open the public preview and start designing. There is no sign-up and no login.
Where are my designs saved?
In your browser’s storage on this computer, saved as you work. They are not uploaded. Clearing your browser’s site data removes them, so download a .zway project file of anything you want to keep.
Is my photo uploaded when I remove a background?
No. Background removal runs on your computer. The first time, your browser downloads the open-source model once and keeps it for next time.
What can I export?
PNG, JPG, WebP, PDF and SVG, at 1x, 2x or 3x. You can also export all pages as one PDF, or the whole project as a .zway file.
Can I design app screens too?
Yes. It has phone, tablet and desktop frame sizes, auto layout, grid layout, components, clickable prototypes and a Present mode. The Inspect tab gives CSS, HTML, Tailwind and SVG for any layer.
Is it free?
Yes, the public preview is free to use. Stock photo search and the optional edit with prompt feature need your own API key.
